Happy birthday to my new friend- Natasha!

I am so happy to know that you love what I have sent you,

and the parcel was finally arrived on time

before your birthday.

and you know it is my real pleasure to prepare handmade gifts to you,

and I think this is a super successful one to me,

especially my sewing is just at a very preliminary level,

and my stitching is not really good.

it is so great to know that you love them all. :)

My parcel to my secret partner has been set off today morning,
it really takes a long way from here to her hands.
However,
to my dear new friend,
I would like to say a Happy Birthday to you before you receive the parcel,
wish all your birthday wishes come true!
Although we don’t know each other before,
we will certainly be friends in the future.
It is delighted to prepare the gifts to celebrate your birthday,
I hope that all of them are good to you.
Hmm, let’s wait until you tell us you have received it!

I once thought that I would be the first one to send out b-gift,
I am finally told that there are several exchanges before me,
those posts really made me be more comfortable,
as long as I could see other's posts as example.
In this month,
(I have prepared these gifts for a month, wow, slow me!)
I am delighted to make every one of the items I sent out,

I am preparing something to my friend
whose birthday is a day in January 2008.
It is a real pleasure for me to prepare something to my dear friends,
especially on the occasion of a birthday.
I treasure this chance too,
since there is only one day to be a birthday of someone,
I usually try my best to prepare something for him/ her.
So, I am busy now and will be off line for a while first,

Happy New Year 2008,
after a week having been passed, I posted my first entry for 2008!

Before you forget “cross stitching” is my favourite hobby,
(LOL, because I am always keen on making rubber stamps and stamping in the latter half of last year)
I think I’d rather show you what I have stitched for a friend in the year around.

Yes, this is a sampler arranged by me with 4 sentences created by my friend.
In fact, she told me she has created 4 sentences for her wedding day in August,
They are:
L is listen,
O is overlook,
V is value, and
E is express,
all together is a word of LOVE.
You know, just stitching these 4 sentences would be a bit simple to be a wedding gift, I initially thought.
So, I added 4 Precious Moments figures to be arranged like a sampler.
I, myself, do not typically like PM figures,
however, they are well-fit to express LOVE in many fans’ hearts.
Then, I thought the most suitable details of the sampler should be them,
and they are holding 4 characters, i.e. L, O, V, E.
After I have finished the 4 PMs,
I wrapped them with the 4 sentences my friend created.
With a white and splendid frame, the sampler looks like a framed wedding photo.
I like it very much,
and I know my sweet friend has been impressed of this wedding gift I prepared for her.
Hey, you see, cross stitching is such a magical hobby,
it is not only able to make the recipient be happy when receive the stitched pieces,
it is also able to make me be thrived when I know that my friends are happy with that.

Resolutions

27, 28, 29, 30, 31…
After several blinks, 2007 will be a part of our history.
While the new year is coming around the corner,
it is the best time to talk about our future.
No, no, no, I am not a fortune teller, however,
I usually set up my own resolutions for guiding my steps in the next year.
Since a quite early time,
I’ve been setting my annual resolution in the beginning of a year.
I still remember the resolutions for the year of 2005,
everyone who knew my resolutions also praised my good points of view;
however, I was too busy and lazy to finish them all,
only 2 completed while 3 of them were outstanding.
At the beginning of Year 2006,
I still hoped that I could finish the rest of all,
so I made myself another resolution with these three outstanding ones.
Unluckily, I could only finish 1 after putting much effort to get it attained.
Perhaps, I was scared by setting any goals and resolutions then,
I did not pre-set any for 2007.
Wow, 2007 was a very fruitful one and I consider it successful to me throughout the year.
I have made a lot of DIY stuff to myself and my friends,
not only they were happy, even I was very happy at all.
For one thing, I have made something from my passion on stitching and crafting;
my DIY things have been continuously admired by all of the fans during the year;
and when I know that they are happy, I am more than happy to know it.
There are several days left for 2007,
thus, we all will soon enter a new year,
what are my resolutions then?
Hmm,
I am too busy to decide them at this moment,
so I must leave it blank right now,
let’s see the result by the end of next year!
