Flower Sampler- Feb

The second part has been completed long time ago,
only I lack time to write down what I did.
The second part is not that difficult,
and you see my roses grow!

Flower Sampler- Jan

Hey, I am busy to start my flower sampler,
here is the first part!
I have joined this stitch-together project for 2008 at EMS,
however, I have found this free chart only in May.
Oops,
I should be much latter than those who started at the beginning of the year,
anyway, I like this sampler very much.
So, I will keep my needle busy....
Originally, it is suggested it is to be finished in BLUE,

Hmm, but, I have my own idea in my mind.
Roses shall be in pink, I believe,
so I change it to be pink and for the remaining part of the roses,
I turn them into brown.

That's nice.
For those alphabets,
you guess?
I will update my progress from time to time,
but first of all,
I love your support as well.
Hope that I could chase the progress I left behind and
finally finish it by the end of this year!
Work hard, Littlehands!

My Stitching Preferences

1) How do you hold your fabric?
I like to use a small hoop and also hold it in my left hand, though it is easily tired to do so.

2) Floss licker?
Hmm, no, like a kitty?! LOL

3) How do you thread your needle?
Just thread it by using my eyes. I think it is better to use a threader.

4) What needle do you like best?
Any brand of them, #26 is the best.

5) Are you a needle loser?
No, I use a magnet to keep them up.

6) What fabric do you prefer to stitch on?
28ct Evenweave is the best, but linen to me is also another good try.

7) Bobbins or floss bags?
Bobbins, a chao to wind the threads on.

8) Are you a scissors collector?
Oh, no, one scissor is good enough. But I like to see others' collections, that's nice.

9) Do you do your own framing, and if so, do you lace or pin?
Yes, just pin it.

10) Are you a floss floozy?
I don't think so.

11) Silk?
I have not given myself a chance to try yet. Hope to try in future.

12) Railroader?
No, I think it's too time consuming. I'd rather leave a large margin and let the fabric loosen its weaves. Don't follow me, too lazy not to railroad.

13) Are you a pattern or designer snob?
I don't know, sometimes perhaps, it all depends on the patterns.

14) Do you get antsy when you give someone a stitched gift?
No, I like it very much. Seeing people to be happy to receive something I made will certainly make me be happy too.

15) Have you reached S.A.B.L.E.?
May I ask what is "S.A.B.L.E"?

16) Do you wash your projects?
Yes, wash them and iron them before framing them or making them further to become something I like.
